I can’t believe I almost missed it.
It was so chilly in the house this morning and the fan was doing it’s lovely white-noise thing and I just didn’t want to get up. I kept thinking about how long 17 miles sounded and how tired I was. Instead of an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, I think it was more like a cat and a puppy:
C: “I’ll just drive today – that will give me 10 minutes more sleep.”
P: “10 minutes?? That’s it? So not worth it. Plus you already packed your bike up. Get up!!”
C: “But it’s soooo cold.”
P: “You know it won’t be when you get going. Plus, think about how much Sofie likes riding the bike. Get up!!”
C: “I can’t believe you pulled that card. Fine, let’s get up.”
I can’t believe I almost missed what has to be one of the most perfect days of the year! My ride was absolute heaven – no mean people, the wind wasn’t as bad as I expected, and the sky was gorgeous! I even wore my new little dress I’ve been wanting to try out!
It doesn’t get better than this.
Speaking of the cold, I’ve got your warm & fuzzies right here!
I cannot even say how grateful I am to Keri of Keri Caffery, Inc. for her immense help styling this site! It looked absolutely pitiful before and I hadn’t a clue how to set it up. It’s so chic! Thank you Keri!!
